Leading car dealer groups, including Sytner, Vertu Motors, Lookers, and Group 1, have registered for Automotive Management Live, taking place on November 11 at the NEC in Birmingham.

Representatives from many AM100 groups have signed up for the event, which will provide an opportunity for delegates to learn, share ideas, and make connections with industry peers.

Six of the UK’s 10 largest franchised dealer groups are already attending, including TrustFord and Greenhous alongside Sytner, Vertu, Lookers, and Group 1.

Directors from Hendy, Swansway, Pentagon, Johnsons Cars, and Hedin Automotive will also attend, along with groups like Steven Eagell, Perrys, Cambria, Snows, and HR Owen.

Event Highlights

Tim Rose, Automotive Management editor, said: “It’s encouraging to see so many of the AM100 already getting ready to join us at the NEC on November 11.”

According to Rose, AM100 dealers attending the show will be able to benchmark services from innovative suppliers, sense-check their strategy, and discover new vehicles like the Denza Z9GT and Bao 5.

Rose urged every AM100 dealer group to encourage their teams to register in advance for their free ticket and join the event. They will have the chance to learn from industry leaders and network with peers.

Networking Opportunities

The AM100 Lounge at Automotive Management Live will provide a dedicated space for senior professionals from AM100 dealer groups to meet, connect, and discuss challenges with peers and new contacts.

The AM100 Executive Dinner, a separate invitation-only event, will bring together senior dealer group executives in an exclusive setting on the evening of the show. It will provide a unique opportunity for them to discuss key issues and share experiences.

Group 1’s customer experience director Katie Martin and group director of aftersales Mike Widdup will discuss customer retention and aftersales supporting growth and profitability. Their session will focus on practical strategies for dealerships.

Other sessions will explore competition in the new car market, used EV battery health, workplace culture, the buying journey, and the practical impact of AI on dealership operations. These sessions will be led by industry experts and will provide valuable insights for delegates.
