Chrysler Pacifica 2027: Fresh Look, Deep Discounts
Chrysler has unveiled the 2027 Pacifica, marking the next step for the minivan that first arrived in 2017. The new model brings a refreshed front end and price cuts across the lineup, though the overall design remains largely familiar.
A New Look for the Minivan
The most visible change for the 2027 model is the front fascia. The previous face-lift in 2021 gave the van a softer look, but this year’s update introduces headlights that resemble upside-down L shapes. This design direction draws inspiration from the Kia Carnival, resulting in a bolder appearance.
The company chose not to adopt the clean lines of the Airflow concept for this update. That concept, which features a smoother nose, would have likely blended well with the Pacifica’s existing profile. Instead, the van now sports a more aggressive front end.
Exterior changes extend beyond the headlights. The 2027 Pacifica gains a new rear wing badge and new wheel designs. The Select, Limited, and Pinnacle trims feature an illuminated grille with a “piano keys” pattern. These higher trims also come standard with an adjustable-height power liftgate.
Price Drops and Naming Changes
Perhaps the most significant news for potential buyers is the reduction in cost. The 2027 Pacifica LX FWD base model starts at $41,495. This price is $1,895 lower than the previous Voyager model.

This price reduction carries down through the entire lineup. The top-of-the-line Pinnacle trim is now $3,180 cheaper than it was in 2026, regardless of whether it is equipped with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The Voyager name has returned to the base model after a brief hiatus. The name was revived in 2024 as a rental fleet alternative to the standard Pacifica, but it is back on the 2027 order sheet. The base model is now simply called the Pacifica LX. It will only offer front-wheel drive, while the rest of the lineup retains the option for all-wheel drive.
The interior remains largely the same, but the company has updated the available finishes. The Pinnacle trim gets exclusive Blue Agave Nappa leather and Copper Alloy bezels. The Stow ‘n Go seating system continues to be a standard feature, keeping the van practical for families.
The 2027 Pacifica continues to rely on the same mechanical underpinnings and general layout that have defined the model for nearly a decade. While the price is lower and the face is new, the vehicle remains a familiar sight on the road.
